Sustainable Development Goals
VANGEST is committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established in 2016. These 17 goals guide global development strategies through to 2030 and represent a shared vision for humanity. Through our business practices, we aim not only to drive innovation and efficiency in the industrial and medical sectors but also to minimize environmental impact, promote social inclusion, and strengthen the communities where we operate.

Five key pillars of SDG’s
People
Placing people at the heart of strategy and action for sustainable development. Ending poverty and hunger worldwide, and ensuring dignity, equality, and access to a healthy environment for all.
Prosperity
Driving towards a more prosperous society respecting both people and the planet. Ensuring that everyone can enjoy a fulfilling, prosperous life, and that economic, social, and technological progress occurs in harmony with nature.
Planet
Protecting the Earth from environmental degradation caused by patterns of consumption and production. Making activities more environmentally friendly is a key priority, alongside measures to tackle climate change and manage natural resources responsibly.
Peace
Promoting peace is essential. Working towards peaceful, just, and inclusive societies, free from fear and violence.
Partnerships
Achieving the SDGs is only possible through partnerships and the engagement of all. Mobilising the means required to implement the goals through a Global Partnership for Sustainable Development, built on solidarity and focused on the needs of the most vulnerable.
Our Iniciatives
VANGEST is committed to continuously contributing to a balanced integration between human life and nature, actively engaging in the search for solutions to the planet’s sustainability challenges. The company integrates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its business strategy as part of this ongoing effort.

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
ESG factors are impact indicators that enable the measurement of companies’ and organisations’ contributions to sustainability, through the outcomes of their practices in the environmental, social, and governance domains.
When implementing their sustainability strategies, companies should identify the SDGs they consider a priority, based on the issues that most affect their operations, and select for each of them a set of ESG criteria. These criteria will serve as benchmarks for performance and will highlight the contribution of their business to sustainable development.
